Sensory Grounding is a critical skill that anyone can learn to help actively self-regulate and redirect your mind to the present moment. If you're dealing with panic, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, memories or dissociative symptoms such as feeling "spacey" or numb this is likely to be very helpful.


If you find guided recordings useful, you might trying listening to one of my new brief (3 to 5 minute) recordings on Insight Timer to help develop your calming and grounding skills.


TIP: It's easier to learn the skills when you're feeling more calm, so don't wait until you're in a crisis to try it out.
