Check your coverage for the services of a "Registered Clinical Counsellor"

My current fees are $170 +gst for 1-hour counselling sessions prorated for longer sessions as required. I can directly bill First Nations Health Authority with prior approval. For all other insurance providers, clients pay me directly by credit card or e-transfer and submit the detailed receipt I provide to their insurance company. Please note I am not currently providing services paid for new clients through ICBC or WorkSafeBC insurance.

Check your workplace extended health benefits

If you have extended health benefits coverage at work (eg. Sun Life, Canada Life, Green Shield, Blue Cross, & Manulife), you may have coverage for sessions with a Registered Clinical Counsellor. In most cases you will need to pay for the sessions and submit receipts to your insurance carrier to receive reimbursement.
I provide detailed receipts for every visit. If you require further information please contact your insurance provider directly.

I am a registered mental health provider with FNHA which allows for Mental Wellness Counselling for up to 22 sessions with prior approval.
